Common questions

My alarm didn't ring.

Check that Sunrouse is allowed to set alarms: in the iPhone's Settings app, open Sunrouse and turn on Alarms. Sunrouse shows a note on its home screen when this permission is off. Also check the ringer volume in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.

How do missions work?

A mission alarm rings like any alarm. Tap Start mission, finish the mission, and the alarm is off. If you press Stop instead, the alarm comes back a minute later, until the mission is done or the emergency stop time you chose (5 to 20 minutes) has passed.

I can't finish the mission. How do I stop the alarm?

After the minutes you set for the alarm, an Emergency stop button appears on the mission screen, and Stop on the alarm ends it for good. An emergency stop doesn't add to your streak, and it doesn't break it.

The steps mission doesn't count.

Sunrouse needs Motion & Fitness access: Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness. Steps are counted while you walk with your iPhone in your hand or pocket.

The object mission doesn't recognise my object.

Point the camera at the object the way it looks in your setup photo, from about the same distance, in some light. If it still doesn't match, retake the setup photo in the alarm editor with the object filling most of the frame.

What is the gentle wake-up?

A quiet sound 5, 10 or 15 minutes before the real alarm, so you wake up more slowly. It is a separate, quiet alarm; stopping it doesn't stop the real one.

How is the streak counted?

A day counts when an alarm rang and you got up with it. Days without an alarm don't break the streak; a day an alarm was due and you didn't get up with it does.

I bought Sunrouse Plus on another iPhone.

Open Settings in Sunrouse and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.

How do I cancel the subscription?

In the iPhone's Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Sunrouse. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current year ends to avoid the next charge. Plain alarms and the math mission keep working for free.
