Sunrouse

Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Sunrouse is an alarm clock for iPhone made by Reba Labs ("we"). This policy explains what happens to the information Sunrouse uses. The short version: it stays on your iPhone, and we never receive it.

What Sunrouse stores

  • your alarms: times, repeat days, labels, missions, sounds and settings;
  • your mornings: when an alarm rang and how it ended, for your streak;
  • for the object mission, the photo you take at setup and a numeric summary of it (a Vision "feature print").

All of this is stored only on your iPhone, inside Sunrouse's own storage. Its widgets read a short summary (your next alarm and your streak) from the same device.

Camera

The camera is used only for the object mission: once when you take the setup photo, and while that mission is open. Camera frames are compared with your setup photo on the device by Apple's Vision framework and are not saved or sent anywhere.

Motion & Fitness

The steps mission reads your step count from the iPhone's motion sensor while the mission is open. Step counts are not stored beyond the mission and never leave your iPhone.

What we collect

Nothing. Sunrouse has no account, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Apart from the App Store's own purchase system, the app makes no network requests. We cannot see, access or recover anything in it. The App Store privacy label for Sunrouse is "Data Not Collected".

Alarms and notifications

Alarms are scheduled with Apple's AlarmKit on your iPhone. The bedtime reminder is a local notification. Neither passes through any server.

Purchases

Sunrouse Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment details. The app asks the App Store whether you have an active purchase so it can unlock Plus.

Backups

Like other app data, Sunrouse's data can be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) if you have them turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account settings and Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to them.

Data Apple shares with developers

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, such as how many people installed the app. These contain nothing you entered into Sunrouse. When you test a beta through TestFlight, any feedback or screenshots you send through TestFlight reach us.

Children

Sunrouse is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete an alarm in its editor or by touching and holding its card. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone, including the setup photos.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. If you have any question about privacy, write to privacy@reba-labs.com.

Changes

If Sunrouse ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
