Privacy policy

Romparoo is a family games app for iPhone made by Reba Labs ("we"). The short version: Romparoo collects nothing, and we never receive any information about you or your children.

What Romparoo stores

Romparoo keeps three settings on your device: the age group of the youngest player, whether the game-master voice is on, and whether you have seen the welcome screen. Nothing else is saved.

The microphone

Only the game Sleeping Lions uses the microphone, and only while it is running. The app measures how loud the room is, many times a second, to decide whether the lion wakes up. The sound is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere; only the loudness level is used, and it is thrown away immediately. If you don't allow microphone access, a grown-up taps the screen instead. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings → Romparoo.

The game-master voice

Commands are read aloud by the speech engine built into your iPhone. The text is spoken on the device; Romparoo does not send it anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. Romparoo has no account, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs that collect data. The app makes no network requests while you play. The only links that leave the app (Help, Privacy, Terms in Settings) open these web pages.

Children

Romparoo is designed for families with children aged 2 to 10, played together with a grown-up. We do not collect any personal information from or about children, or from anyone else.

Data Apple shares with developers

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, such as how many people installed the app. These never include anything you said or did in a game. When you test a beta through TestFlight, any feedback or screenshots you send through TestFlight reach us.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the three settings it stored.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. If you have any question about privacy, write to privacy@reba-labs.com.

Changes

If Romparoo ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
