Common questions
I forgot to tap Start. Can I fix the start time?
Yes. While a fast is running, tap Started under the ring and pick the time you really started. It can't be in the future or before your previous fast ended. Finished fasts can be edited in History: tap the fast and change its start or end.
How do I change my plan?
Tap the plan button above the ring (for example 16:8) and pick another plan. If a fast is running, its goal changes and the start time stays the same. 16:8 is free; the other plans and custom lengths come with Neapwell Plus.
Which reminders does Neapwell send?
In Settings > Reminders you choose: when you reach your goal, when your eating window ends (time to start the next fast), and milestones such as 12 or 14 hours into a fast. If you get no reminders, check that notifications for Neapwell are allowed in the iPhone's Settings app.
How do I add the widget or see the Live Activity?
Both come with Neapwell Plus. For a widget, touch and hold your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and choose Neapwell. The Live Activity starts on its own when you start a fast; you can turn it off in Settings > Display.
How is a streak counted?
A day counts when a fast that reached its goal ended on that day. Your current streak still counts through yesterday until today is over.
How does Apple Health work in Neapwell?
It is off until you turn on Apple Health in the weight log (Progress tab, Neapwell Plus). Neapwell then saves the weights you log to Apple Health and shows body weight from Apple Health in your log. It reads and writes body weight only, and that data never leaves your devices.
I bought Neapwell Plus on another iPhone.
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.
How do I cancel the subscription?
In the iPhone's Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Neapwell. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current year ends to avoid the next charge. The 16:8 timer keeps working for free.
Is Neapwell medical advice?
No. Neapwell is a timer and a log. Talk to a doctor if you are pregnant, diabetic, underweight or have an eating disorder, and before trying fasts of 24 hours or more.
