Mealmark

Terms of use

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Mealmark, an app made by Reba Labs. By using Mealmark you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps from the App Store.

Free version and Mealmark Plus

Mealmark starts with a one-week free trial of Mealmark Plus, which you can close to keep using the free version: up to three meals a day, typed in or searched, and the last seven days of history. Mealmark Plus adds photo suggestions, every meal of the day, 30- and 90-day history and averages, and the Home Screen widget. It is available as:

  • a yearly subscription with a one-week free trial. After the trial the yearly price is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
  • a one-time lifetime purchase, with nothing to renew.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Restore a purchase on another iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account with Restore Purchases in Settings or on the purchase screen. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What the numbers mean

Photo suggestions come from Apple's on-device model and can be wrong, both the food and the portion. You check every suggestion before it is saved. Calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat come from average values in USDA FoodData Central; packaged foods and recipes differ, so every number in Mealmark is an estimate. Photo suggestions need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on and iOS 27.

Not medical advice

Mealmark is a food diary, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and gives no medical or diet advice. The reference values it shows (from EU and UK food labels and the NHS) describe an average adult, not you. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or want to change how much you eat, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian. Mealmark does not set a daily target below 1,200 kcal.

Your data

Your meals are stored only on your device. We have no copy, so we can't recover them if you delete the app or lose your phone. Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud or a computer) includes Mealmark's data.

Using the app

Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or misuse the app except where the law allows.

No warranty

We work hard to make Mealmark reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including about the accuracy of food suggestions or nutrition values.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Reba Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or loss of data, arising from your use of Mealmark. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version.
