Mealmark

Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Mealmark is a calorie counter and food diary made by Reba Labs ("we"). This policy explains what happens to the information it uses. The short version: your meals and photos stay on your iPhone. We don't collect any data.

What the app uses

  • The camera, only when you tap "Take a photo" to photograph a meal. You can also pick a photo from your library; iOS gives the app only the photo you pick.
  • Apple's on-device model (Apple Intelligence), which looks at the meal photo on your iPhone and suggests foods. This runs on the device; the photo is not sent to Apple, to us or to anyone else.
  • What you log: foods, grams, meals, times and your daily calorie number. Mealmark keeps a small copy of a meal's photo with that meal.

All of it is stored only on your device, in Mealmark's own app storage. We never receive it. There is no account and no Reba Labs server behind the app.

Network use

Mealmark makes no network requests of its own. The food list and its nutrition values are built into the app. The only online step is purchases: buying or restoring Mealmark Plus goes through Apple's App Store, and we receive no personal information from Apple about who bought it.

What we never do

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps, no selling or sharing of data. In App Store terms: Data Not Collected.

Deleting your data

Delete a meal in the app at any time (open it and tap Delete meal). Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Questions are still welcome at privacy@reba-labs.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also contact your data protection authority.

Children

Mealmark is a general-audience app and does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If Mealmark starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
