Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Ribbonleaf, an app made by Reba Labs. By using Ribbonleaf you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps from the App Store.
Ribbonleaf Plus
Unlimited books, reading sessions, your yearly goal and shelf, and 10 quotes are free. Ribbonleaf Plus unlocks unlimited quotes, the reading-session Live Activity, widgets, the year-in-books card, past years and CSV export. You can buy it in two ways:
- Yearly subscription. New subscribers get a one-week free trial. After the trial, the yearly price shown in the app is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
- Lifetime unlock. A one-time purchase that unlocks Ribbonleaf Plus for as long as the app is offered, with no subscription.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country. Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Restore Purchases in Settings brings back a purchase on a new or reset iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account.
Book details and quotes
Book details found by ISBN come from Open Library and may be incomplete or wrong; you can edit them. The quotes you keep are excerpts from books you read, for your own use. When you share a quote card, you are responsible for sharing it in a way the book's copyright allows.
Your data
Everything you enter stays on your iPhone (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for keeping backups of your device if you want to keep your reading history. We cannot recover data that is deleted or lost.
Using the app
Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute Ribbonleaf except where the law allows.
No warranty
We work hard to make Ribbonleaf accurate and reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Session times depend on your device's clock.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Reba Labs is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Ribbonleaf. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Ribbonleaf after a change means you accept the updated terms.
