Pulvio is a blood pressure log for iPhone made by Reba Labs ("we"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into Pulvio. The short version: it stays on your iPhone, and we never receive it.
What Pulvio stores
- your readings: the upper and lower numbers, pulse, date and time, arm, position, tags and notes you add;
- the medication you list for your doctor report, and the name you choose to show on the report;
- your settings, such as the guideline used for categories and your reminder times.
All of this is stored only on your iPhone, inside Pulvio's own storage. The widget reads a small summary (your last reading and the 7-day average) from a storage area shared only between the app and its widget.
Apple Health
Apple Health is off until you turn it on in Pulvio's settings (a Pulvio Plus feature). When you do, iOS asks for your permission. Pulvio then saves the readings you type in to Apple Health as blood pressure and heart rate samples, and adds blood pressure readings that other apps and monitors saved in Apple Health to your log. This happens on your iPhone; nothing from Apple Health is sent to us or to anyone else, and Pulvio does not use health data for advertising or any purpose other than your log. You can change these permissions at any time in the Health app or in the iPhone's Settings.
Doctor report and exports
When you share a report (PDF) or an export (CSV), Pulvio creates the file on your iPhone and hands it to the share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice: printing, mail, AirDrop or another app. We never receive it.
What we collect
Nothing. Pulvio has no account, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Apart from the App Store's own purchase system, the app makes no network requests. We cannot see, access or recover anything you enter. The App Store privacy label for Pulvio is "Data Not Collected".
Reminders
Morning and evening reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They are not sent through any server.
Purchases
Pulvio Plus is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we receive no payment details. The app asks the App Store whether you have an active purchase so it can unlock Plus.
Backups
Like other app data, Pulvio's data can be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) if you have them turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account settings and Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to them.
Data Apple shares with developers
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, such as how many people installed the app. These contain no information you entered into Pulvio. When you test a beta through TestFlight, any feedback or screenshots you send through TestFlight reach us.
Children
Pulvio does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Open a reading and tap Delete reading to remove it. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your iPhone. Readings Pulvio saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. If you have any question about privacy, write to privacy@reba-labs.com.
Changes
If Pulvio ever starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
