Privacy policy

Milkling is a feeding tracker for iPhone made by Reba Labs ("we"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into Milkling. The short version: it stays on your phone, and we never receive it.

What Milkling stores

When you use Milkling you may enter:

  • your first name, so the app can greet you;
  • each child's name and birth date;
  • feeds (start time, duration on each side, notes);
  • foods your child has tried, reactions you noted, and tips you saved;
  • your settings, such as theme and haptics.

All of this is stored only on your device, inside Milkling's own app storage.

What we collect

Nothing. Milkling has no account, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs that collect data. The app itself makes no network requests. If you tap one of the sources listed under a tip, that page opens in your browser like any other link; Milkling sends nothing with it. We cannot see, access or recover anything you enter.

Backups

Like other app data, Milkling's data can be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a backup to your computer) if you have them turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple account settings and Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to them.

Data Apple shares with developers

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics, such as how many people installed the app. These contain no information you entered into Milkling. When you test a beta through TestFlight, any feedback or screenshots you send through TestFlight reach us.

Children

Milkling is for parents and caregivers. Information about your children (a name and a birth date) stays on your device like everything else. We do not knowingly collect any information from or about children.

Deleting your data

Open Milkling, tap the settings button on the Today screen and choose Clear all data. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. If you have any question about privacy, write to privacy@reba-labs.com.

Changes

If Milkling ever starts handling data differently, for example to add an optional sync feature, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
