Common questions

How do I move a gift from idea to bought?

Tap the round icon on the left of the gift. Each tap moves it one step: idea, bought, wrapped, given. To pick any status, or to delete a gift, press and hold it.

What counts as "spent"?

The prices of gifts that are bought, wrapped or given. Ideas count as "still to buy". "Left" is the person's budget minus what is spent.

How do I hide the amounts?

Tap the eye at the top left of the Gifts tab. Every amount turns into dots until you tap it again. You can also switch it in Settings.

How do I share my wishlist?

Open the Wishlist tab, add what you would love, then tap the share button. Choose Share as picture or Share as text with links and pick Messages, WhatsApp, Mail or any other app.

Can my family edit the list with me?

Not yet. Family sharing through iCloud is planned for a later version. Today you can share your wishlist as a picture or text.

How do I add a birthday?

Tap the occasion name at the top of the Gifts tab and choose New occasion, or go to Settings > Occasions. More than one occasion needs Wrapwise Unlimited.

Where is the widget?

Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit > Add Widget and search for Wrapwise. The widget shows the days to go and what is left of your budget. It needs Wrapwise Unlimited.

Reminders don't arrive.

Wrapwise asks for permission the first time you add a reminder. If you said no, open the iOS Settings app > Notifications > Wrapwise and allow notifications.

I bought Wrapwise Unlimited on another iPhone.

Open Settings in Wrapwise and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account.

Is my data backed up?

Wrapwise stores everything on your iPhone, and your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or a computer) includes it. We have no copy.
