Privacy policy

Wrapwise is an app made by Reba Labs ("we") for planning gifts. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it. The short version: everything stays on your iPhone. We don't collect any data.

What you enter

  • the occasions you plan for, the people you buy for and their budgets;
  • gift ideas with their links, prices, notes and status;
  • your own wishlist and the name you show on it;
  • reminders you set.

All of it is stored only on your device, in Wrapwise's own app storage. We never receive it. There is no account and no Reba Labs server behind the app.

Network use

Wrapwise talks to the internet in two cases only:

  • Link previews. When you type or paste a link for a gift, your iPhone opens that web page itself (with Apple's LinkPresentation framework) to show its title and picture. The shop or site you linked sees an ordinary visit from your iPhone, as in Safari. Nothing goes to us.
  • Purchases. Buying or restoring Wrapwise Unlimited goes through Apple's App Store. We receive no personal information from Apple about who bought it.

Sharing your wishlist

When you share your wishlist, Wrapwise hands a picture or text to the iOS share sheet. You choose the app and the people it goes to; we don't see it.

Widget and reminders

The widget reads a small summary (occasion name and date, budget, amount spent) that the app saves on your iPhone for it. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone.

What we never do

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps, no selling or sharing of data. In App Store terms: Data Not Collected.

Deleting your data

Delete people, gifts, wishes or reminders in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Questions are still welcome at privacy@reba-labs.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also contact your data protection authority.

Children

Wrapwise is a general-audience app and does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If Wrapwise starts handling data differently (for example, family sharing through iCloud in a later version), we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
