Privacy policy

Tillnest is an app made by Reba Labs ("we") that shows your investment portfolio as a small shop. This policy explains what happens to the information you put into it. The short version: without an account, everything stays on your phone. With an account, we keep your email and the daily values you typed, and nothing else about your money.

What you enter

  • the total value of your portfolio on the days you count it;
  • money you added to or took out of the account, if you log it;
  • a name for your shop and the currency symbol to show.

Tillnest never connects to your broker and never asks for your holdings, account numbers or broker login.

Without an account

Everything above is stored only on your device, in Tillnest's own app storage. We never receive it. Tillnest makes no network requests in this mode.

With an optional account

If you create an account, we store:

  • your email address, the name you chose and a password hash (we never see the password itself);
  • for each day you counted: the date, the value, the day's change and the till that adds up to it;
  • the device sessions you are signed in on (device type and when it was last used), so you can sign out everywhere.

We use this to back up your shop and to restore it on another phone. Account data is stored on a server in the European Union (Hetzner). Account emails (confirming your address, resetting your password) are sent through our email provider, Resend. Our server keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and time of a request) for security, and nightly backups that are deleted after 14 days.

What we never do

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps, no selling or sharing of data. We do not use your values for anything except showing your shop back to you.

Deleting your data

  • On the phone: tap the account button, open the shop card and choose Close this shop. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored.
  • The account: tap the account button and choose Close account. Your email is removed right away and the rest of the account data within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your account data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to privacy@reba-labs.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Tillnest is not meant for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If Tillnest starts handling data differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date above.
