Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Računalniške storitve, Kristjan Reba s.p., trading as Reba Labs, Slovenia ("we", "us"; details in the imprint), for the use of Stripnest at stripnest.reba-labs.com, including its API ("the service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them on behalf of the business you act for ("you").
1. Business customers only
Stripnest is sold to businesses and professionals for their trade, not to consumers. By creating an account you confirm that you use it for business purposes. Consumer protection rules, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers, therefore do not apply.
2. Your account
You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your password and API keys secret: you are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you let use it. Tell us at once at support@reba-labs.com if you think someone else has access.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- There is a free plan with limits shown in the app, and paid plans (currently Designer and Pro) billed monthly or yearly in advance. What each plan includes and its price are shown in the app and on the checkout page when you subscribe; that is what applies to your subscription.
- Payment is by card or another method offered through our payment provider, Stripe. Your invoice is issued through Stripe. Prices are in euros. VAT is charged or not as shown on the checkout page and the invoice, depending on your country and VAT number.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and you keep access meanwhile. If payment still fails, your account moves to the free plan.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance; the new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time in the app (Account → Invoices, card and cancellation). The paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Your data stays.
- Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately.
- Fees already paid are not refunded, including for unused parts of a period, unless the law requires otherwise or we end the service as described in section 9.
5. Fair use of computing time
Layout searches run on shared servers. Each plan has limits, shown in the app, on searches per month, part types, search time, disk space and the number of layouts queued or running at once. Please use the service, including the API, for your own die design and quoting work, at a reasonable rate. Do not try to get around the limits, overload the service, probe or attack it, scrape it, resell access, or upload files you have no right to use or files built to harm the service. We may slow down, pause or refuse requests that put the service at risk for other customers, and tell you why.
6. Results are decision support
Stripnest computes strip layouts, material use, blank unfolding and cost estimates from the files, materials and settings you provide. These results are decision support for a qualified person, not a finished die design or a guarantee. Software can be wrong, files can be read differently than intended, and an unfolded blank or a cost estimate is an approximation. You must check every result (geometry, distances, carrier, pitch, material, blank and press data) against your own design rules and drawings before you build, order or quote a die or tooling, and you remain responsible for that decision.
7. Your files and data
- Your uploaded files, layouts and other content remain yours. You give us the right to store and process them only to provide the service to you, for example to compute, display, export and back up your layouts.
- We treat your files as confidential. We do not look at their content except when you ask us to (for example for support) or when needed to keep the service secure, and we do not use them to train models or for any other customer.
- You confirm you have the right to upload the files you upload.
- You can download your data and delete your account at any time in the app. Personal data in your content is handled under our data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms, and our privacy policy.
- Keep your own copies of important results. We make nightly backups, but the service is not an archive.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Stripnest available and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular uptime. Maintenance and updates can interrupt it briefly; a layout search running during a restart may need to be started again. We improve the service over time and may change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a material part of your paid plan, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of a prepaid period.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after a warning where reasonable. We may also stop offering Stripnest altogether with at least 60 days' notice by email; we then refund the unused part of any prepaid period. In both cases you will have at least 30 days to download your data, unless the law or a serious security risk prevents it.
10. Liability
- We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.
- Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost profit, lost production, scrap, the cost of dies, tooling or material, or the consequences of a die or quote based on a result you did not check as described in section 6.
- Otherwise, our total liability for all claims in a calendar year is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For use of the free plan it is limited to €100.
- The service is provided as described in these terms; we give no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent the law allows.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email account holders about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use the service after the date means you accept them.
12. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The courts competent for our registered seat in Slovenia have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms are written in English; if they are translated, the English version prevails.
